Family Friendly Insect Repellent
It's summertime and you want to get away to the countryside for the weekend, but the bugs! If mosquitoes and other insects love you or your kids, you may want to try this Jane & Thunder Apothecary approved DIY insect repellent recipe. It's safe for the whole family (6+ months) and smells a lot more refreshing than traditional repellents.
INSECT REPELLENT RECIPE
(safe for 6+ months)
15 drops Citronella Oil
10 drops Lavender Oil
10 drops Tea Tree Oil
10 drops Cedarwood Oil
3.5 oz (105 ml) Distilled Water
0.5 oz (15 ml) Witch Hazel for preservation
Pour all ingredients into a measuring cup for liquids. Make sure you don't pass 4 oz (120ml).
Open your spray bottle.
Using a funnel, pour all ingredients into the bottle.
Re-secure spray pump.
Always shake before using.
Enjoy your time in the great outdoors!
