Easy to Pack Breakfast

Summer is here and camping season is in full swing! We have a nutritious, easy to pack, easy to prep breakfast recipe for you: Mason jar overnight oats. It'll work whether you're camping, glamping, or simply heading to the cottage for a long weekend. Prep the dry ingredients in a mason jar before you leave and simply add the liquid the night before for an instant breakfast the next morning.

 

MASON JAR OVERNIGHT OATS

Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 1 cup organic quick oats

  • 1 cup organic rolled oats

  • 2 tbsp chia seeds

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 2 tbsp honey, agave nectar, or maple syrup

  • 2 cups milk of your choice or water

Directions

  1. Pack all dry ingredients in a mason jar.

  2. Add the liquid and sweetener the night before.

  3. Seal and shake the jar. Store chilled until morning.

  4. In the morning, serve and enjoy!
